The perfume and cosmetics industry is at the heart of French economy and know-how. It is an essential contributor to the luxury goods industry and helps to convey an image of excellence worldwide.
Founded in 2011, the École Supérieure du Parfum offers, in Paris and Grasse, undergraduate (BAC + 3) and postgraduate (BAC + 5) courses that enable young professionals to master creation processes, while learning about the constraints linked to production, security, marketing, sales etc.
Since its creation, this project has received support from many companies and institutions in the perfume industry. These are now present on the board of the School Development Council, which is chaired by Maurice Alhadève, former director of the ISIPCA, who has held several leadership roles within the perfume and cosmetics industry for over thirty years.
Within this framework, certain companies and institutions such as Dior, Interparfum, L’Oréal, IFF, Firmenich, Takasago, Givaudan or the Fédération Française du Parfum (French Federation of Perfume) have participated in the creation of course content that is in line with the expectations of the profession.
The Université Paris VI – Pierre et Marie Curie is also associated with this system, as a partnership based on sharing educational and material resources was signed with them in 2011. This has established a collaboration that allows the École Supérieure du Parfum to benefit from the recognised excellence in analytical chemistry attribute by the UPMC.
The École Supérieure du Parfum, whose mission it is to train young, cultivated, sensitive, open-minded, pragmatic professionals with strong technical expertise, has all the assets necessary for the success of its unifying and innovating academic project.
